The My Hero Academia episode 11 picked up from where the previous one left off, with Bakugo captured by Shigaraki. Meanwhile, Deku was still on the way to the battle. Aizawa begged the pro heroes to please protect Bakugo, telling them he would graduate and be a fine hero. U.A.’s big three, Nejire, Mirio, and Tamaki, decided to buy time until Midoriya arrived.

The trio launched a fantastic combination move, which allowed Mirio to rescue Bakugo. However, the villains’ grotesque and abnormal growth still kept them at bay. Jeanist rushed to Bakugo and saw the latter was still fighting Shigaraki in his mind despite his injuries. Mirio struck a nerve with Shigaraki, telling him if he had friends, he wouldn’t be like this.

The episode then revealed that Shigaraki wasn’t completely taking over and that Tenko Shimura still lived somewhere inside. Shigaraki then shifted his attention back to Bakugo. However, Nejire and Mirio tried to stop him. Nejire was also powering up Tamaki’s quirk, Manifest, a quirk without limits. Tamaki fired his quirk at the villain, obliterating the growth of arms and destroying part of the barrier.

However, the villain still emerged unscathed. When Bakugo returned to the battle, his quirk had evolved, granting him a massive speed boost. He used that to attack the villain while everyone backed him up. However, Shigaraki blew everyone away. The episode ended with Shigaraki piercing Bakugo’s heart.
