Modern workplace C-drama Our Interpreter has come to an end. It featured prominent actors Victoria Song and Chen Xingxu in the main roles. The original broadcasting network of the drama is Hunan Television. Zhang Tong has directed the drama and Fei Huijun is the writer. It released a total of 36 episodes. Our Interpreter showcased the budding love story between ex-lovers Lin Xi (Victoria Song) and Xiao Yicheng (Chen Xingxu). Eight years after their initial breakup, they meet again when the companies they work for sign a partnership. As the duo continue to work side by side, they end up falling in love once again.
On the final episode of Our Interpreter, Lin Xi and Xiao Yicheng attend a business expo together to promote the translation device. Many important foreign guests have arrived at the event. The translator device is being used by almost every guest at the venue to communicate with people of other nationalities. Everyone is impressed with the device for its proficient and accurate translations.
Mr. Indridarson, an important guest from Iceland arrives at the event with his son. When his son who has autism, feels overwhelmed and restless because of loud noise, Lin Xi calms him down. Mr. Indridarson is really impressed. He says that he’ll teach his son Chinese after they return to their country.

In Episode 36 of Our Interpreter, Yicheng drives Lin Xi home. He gives her a household register. Yicheng tells her that he does not want to wait any longer and wants to marry her soon. In the meantime, Lin Xi receives a call about a job offer in the United States. Yicheng is sad at first but encourages Lin Xi to follow her passion. He also decides to accompany her.
One month passes. Cheng Yao (Qiming Fei) and Tong Xin (Yu Shasha) are officially dating. Tong Xin goes to meet Yao Cheng. On their way home, Cheng Yao opens his heart and tells Shasha how much she means to him. Shasha also feels a sense of assurance with him.
The next scene of Our Interpreter takes viewers to a wedding venue. Shasha (Lin Zi Lu) and Wei Tian (Wang Sen) are getting married. Shasha’s parents have finally accepted their relationship. The whole family is reunited at the wedding. But Lin Xi is not there.
After the wedding, Lin Xi videocalls Shasha. She has decided to accept the job offer and has been staying in Geneva. Her family members are very happy to see her. Yicheng is also there with her. `
After hanging up, Lin Xi and Yicheng sit on a bench by the sea. They reminisce about old times. Yicheng recalls the first time he saw Lin Xi. He says that it snowed that day. He saw her while sitting by the sea. Lin Xi’s optimistic nature had caught his attention. Lin Xi tells him that she would always choose him. As they share a passionate kiss, the drama comes to an end.
