But as she continues to try and destroy him, she gets to know him better, and the two end up falling in love.

3. One and Only
In this 2021 drama, Bai Lu plays the character of Cui Shi Yi, a noblewoman who is betrothed to the crown prince. After some tragic events leading to her being mute, his fiancé’s family cancels the betrothal. Zhou Sheng Chen (Ren Jialun) takes Shi Yi as his disciple. As time passes, the two develop a strong bond.

4. Arsenal Military Academy
This 2019 drama takes place during the Japanese occupation of China. A young woman named Xie Xiang (Bai Lu) wants to join troops and defend the country. She cuts her hair short and uses her brother’s name to sneak into the army. She befriends many young soldiers. But complications arise when some of her new friends develop feelings for her.

5. Song of Youth
Lin Shao Chun (Bai Lu), the daughter of a former government official, leads a poor life after her father is thrown out of his title. She wants to take revenge for her family. However, complications occur when Shao Chun finds out that the culprit, who wronged her father, is a member of her husband’s family.
