It appears that Mandalore’s way has taken over the Fortnite Universe. In a recent press release, Epic Games announced a new limited-time mode inspired by The Mandalorian. For a week starting today, Mando’s Bounty will allow the players to compete with and out-hunt all their opponents. Things get interesting when a player becomes the lead because that’s when the Fortnite version of Din Djarin starts the top player hunt. Should a player survive all his opponents — including Mando — and win the Victory Royale, he or she will receive a specially-forged Beskar Umbrella bearing the signet of a clan of two (via SuperHeroHype).
Like in the TV series, players have to eliminate their Bounty Puck target to collect galactic credits. The first one to reach the credit goal while keeping his or her three lives wins the match. And to immerse everyone even more into the Star Wars atmosphere, fans can visit Kit’s new cantina on the Island, located in the desert. Epic Games has also released a funny Mando’s Bounty trailer. You can see Peely getting encased in carbonite after a close encounter with Mando.

Star Wars fans have been pleased since they heard that the Mandalorian’s skin had been added to the game starting with the fifth season of Fornite Chapter 2. Of course, Din Djarin made his debut flanked by the ever-present Baby Yoda, a.k.a. Grogu. In Fornite Chapter 2 Season 5, the story follows the Zero Point exposition, the extremely dense singularity in the game. Agent Jones has gathered some of the best hunters across all universes to prevent people from escaping the loop.
You can play Fornite on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The new Mando’s Bounty LTM is available from Feb. 2 to Feb. 9 at 9 a.m. ET.
