The Guardians of the Galaxy films are known for their soundtracks that feature many pop and rock hits from in and around the 1980s. The upcoming video game releasing on October 26 is no different, as evidenced by its list of licensed songs. And Eidos Montreal not only revealed the full Guardians of the Galaxy tracklist, it also released a few original ’80s-inspired music videos, too.

The licensed soundtrack for the game features 28 songs and has its own playlist that runs down a whole list of music services. Most songs are from the 1980s and just a small handful from the 1970s. Here’s the full list of songs:

There are also two original songs from Peter Quill’s band, Star-Lord. Eidos Montreal debuted two videos for the song called “Zero to Hero,” one of which pulls from ’80s cartoons and the other looks like an ’80s glam rock band music video. Both can be found below. The other song is titled “Space Riders with No Names” but has no video as of yet.
These songs are placed heavily in the game in various contexts (like its Huddle mechanic), but streamer-friendly replacements will run if the users want to. Other games have that option yet some choose to just play nothing instead when playing in streamer mode. It may get around Twitch’s strict rules around music, but it ends up resulting in some unusual scenes that differ greatly to those where the music is playing.
