Rockstar Games recently hinted that the next Grand Theft Auto Online update would take a “walk on the wild side of Blaine County,” but didn’t detail exactly what that meant. But today, the studio announced that this tease was a part of the new Los Santos Drug Wars quest chain. These rural missions will kick off on December 13.
Players will be able to team up with Nervous Ron, one of Trevor’s friends from the campaign, and sell psychedelic drugs and cook up hallucinogens in “elaborate labs” or in a “massive rolling chemistry set.” December 13 also just marks the first half of the mission, as this will be a two-part endeavor, as described in Rockstar’s post.
And as is usually the case, the update will come with new vehicles, upgrades, gameplay updates, additional story bits, and more.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players will also be able to enjoy ray-traced reflections, as Rockstar revealed in a previous post. However, these new visual features will only be available in Quality Mode.
