Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has only been out for a few days, but developer Insomniac Games is already thinking about what the future of the series may include.
Intihar likens Spider-Man 1 & 2 to Iron Man and Civil War
During a recent interview with YouTube channel Skill Up, Insomniac Games creative director Bryan Intihar spoke about a potential third game. According to Intihar, if there was a third game to come out, he believes it would be a “pretty epic” game.
“I think… if Spider-Man 1 and Miles [Morales] were like our Iron Man and Spider-Man 2 was our Civil War, where do we logically go from there?” Intihar said. “I think it’d be pretty epic, but, you know, we’ll see.”
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available now on the PlayStation 5 and has already launched to massive success. The game recently became PlayStation Studios’ fastest-selling title in history, selling 2.5 million copies in its first 24 hours. In the U.K., the game is a big hit, becoming the fourth-highest-selling game of 2023 in the country.
