Disney Dreamlight Valley is officially out of early access. A new expansion for the game, called A Rift in Time, is also available now.
Gameloft announced the news on Tuesday, revealing that the game was coming out of early access alongside a free content update titled “The Pumpkin King Returns,” starring A Nightmare Before Christmas’ Jack Skellington.
The new update will also include the game’s highly anticipated multiplayer feature, which will allow 2-4 players to visit Valley’s and explore, craft items, and hang out with friends.
New expansion includes characters from Wall-E, Beauty and the Beast, and more
“With today’s global launch, we extend a thank-you to the over 5 million players that have joined us during our Early Access period,” said Matthieu Dupont, Gameloft Montreal Studio Manager. “The engagement and feedback of our community have been the cornerstone to adding new characters and features to Disney Dreamlight Valley. And whether you’re a new addition to the Valley or someone who has been faithfully removing Night Thorns for over a year now, we can’t wait to continue bringing you robust content updates.”
Alongside the free content update and multiplayer inclusion, Disney Dreamlight Valley will also release a paid expansion pass, titled “A Rift in Time,” that will take players to a new place called Eternity Isle in a new storyline. Structured as a three-act story, A Rift in Time will also introduce new villagers in the form of Eve from Pixar and Disney’s Wall-E, Gaston from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Rapunzel from Disney’s Tangled.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC/Mac.
