Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed First Look Teases 3D Brawler

Outright Games has shared a first look at the upcoming 3D brawler/platformer Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed. The game, which was developed by A Heartful of Games in collaboration with Paramount Game Studios, is based on the recent hit animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

According to Outright Games, the game will feature “high-energy gameplay” and an “engaging, original storyline” that follows from the 2023 movie, and sees the turtle brothers dealing with being accepted into society.

What is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed about?

No official release date is set for the game, but it’s currently set to launch in Q4 of 2024, and will retail for $39.99. A special Walmart Edition that’s exclusive to the Americas will also be available, and include an early access code to an in-game costume unlockable.

“In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed, after finally being accepted into society and pursuing their dream of attending a regular high school, the Turtles’ newfound happiness is abruptly interrupted by a new wave of mutants causing unrest across New York City,” reads the game’s descriptions. “Players take control of the four masked heroes, each with their own unique playstyle, as they traverse the sewers and city streets of New York. With an immersive world to explore both above and below ground, meet familiar faces as the ragtag heroes in a half shell gear up to delight fans at home with their chaotic capers. Players can get ready to order in a pizza and adventure solo or team up with a friend in two player local co-op mode later this year.”
