What does the Visions of Mana trailer show?
The new Visions of Mana trailer introduces players to the characters they’ll guide on their quest to the Mana Tree. The main character, Val, is a “Soul Guard” tasked with escorting a girl named Hinna, who was chosen to offer her soul to the Mana Tree. The series’ first mainline installment since Dawn of Mana in 2006, it launches for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5 on August 29.
As seen in the trailer, Val is one of five playable characters alongside the dragon girl Careena, feline swordsman Morley, flail-wielding queen Palmena, and forest guardian Julei. Players can choose up to three characters for their active party and switch between them in combat. The Visions Mana trailer also showcases Elemental Vessels, which players can use to change character’s classes, giving them a new appearance and abilities. Other features include mounts, three NPC companions, and more.
