Following a tease posted to Instagram by Robert Downey Jr., the hype surrounding a Krasinski cameo is beginning to bubble over. Is John Krasinski is Oppenheimer? Here’s the latest information.
Does John Krasinski have a cameo in the Oppenheimer movie?
It’s not yet confirmed whether or not John Krasinski has a cameo in Oppenheimer, but the tease from Robert Downey Jr. certainly hints at it being a possibility.
At the time of publishing, the Robert Downey Jr. Instagram post is the only mention of John Krasinski potentially appearing in the upcoming Christopher Nolan movie.
Did Robert Downey Jr. mean to leak a John Krasinski cameo?
Robert Downey Jr. clearly intended to post the photo and tease John Krasinski’s potential cameo in Oppenheimer.
Robert Downey Jr. captioned the image with: “Linking up with my Oppenheimer cast mates… Wait, is that a Krasinski photo bomb or might there be a surprise cameo?”
While Krasinski might look out of place alongside the four Oppenheimer actors, he is the husband to Emily Blunt, which may also explain his appearance.
Robert Downey Jr. is known to tease his fans on social media, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s just trolling here. A veteran of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Iron Man actor will be all too familiar with remaining mum about a movie’s secrets. Therefore, it’s unlikely that he would have leaked a big cameo unless encouraged to do so for promotional reasons.
