The Disney Plus without ads price is increasing from $10.99 per month to $13.99 per month. That’s an increase of around 27%.
Why is the price of Disney Plus Premium going up?
The price of Disney Plus without ads going up is, according to CEO Bob Iger, due to the service needing a “pricing strategy that makes sense.”
It seems that Iger believes that, during the years when Disney was trying to grow the platform and attract subscribers, the price was too low. As more people joined the platform and more content was released, a higher price became more justifiable.
Igear stated: “In our zeal to grow global subs, I think we were off in terms of our pricing strategy, and we’re now starting to learn more about it and to adjust accordingly.”

The price of Disney Plus with ads is staying the same.
Only the premium no ads version will be getting a price increase. As you might imagine, there will likely be many users who opt for the with ads version at the price of $7.99, instead of paying the increased cost of $13.99 for No Ads.
