Amazon Prime Video Schedule May 13-19 2024: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added

Amazon Prime Video‘s new TV and movie releases for May 13-19 2024 include Outer Range Season 2, and several films like BlacKkKlansman, Creed, and Pearl: An X-traordinary Origin Story.

On May 14, Tuesday, BlacKkKlansman hits Amazon Prime Video. This black political-historical crime comedy-drama movie helmed by Spike Lee is set in the 1970s and follows Detective Ron Stallworth, the first Black detective in Colorado Springs’ police department, who goes on an undercover mission to find and expose the local Ku Klux Klan. John David Washington stars in the lead role and leads an ensemble cast comprising of many talents such as Laura Harrier, Adam Driver, and Topher Grace.

Next on May 16, Thursday, Outer Range Season 2 arrives on Amazon Prime Video. This second season of the sci-fi neo-western series starring Josh Brolin follows Royal Abbott as he tries to explore more mysteries related to the void and also learn more about the enigmatic woman, Autumn, who showed up at his ranch in the previous season.

Also on May 16, viewers can stream the sports drama Creed and Pearl: An X-traordinary Origin Story. The former is a boxing movie starring Michael B. Jordan, that is a spin-off of the iconic Rocky franchise and the latter is a psychological-horror movie that is the second installment of Ti West’s X franchise.

Another release this week is Fifty Shades of Black, a slapstick romantic comedy helmed by Michael Tiddes and a parody of 2015’s Fifty Shades of Grey. This film stars Marlon Wayans and Kali Hawk as Christian Black and Hannah Steele, parodies of Fifty Shades of Grey’s main characters, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
