He’s one of the biggest brands in the industry, so I’m excited to see what he cooks up,” he added.

Back in January 2023, Gunn described the Booster Gold TV series as a “story of a superhero’s imposter syndrome.”

Besides Starr, actors Dylan Playfair, Fionn Whitehead, and Patrick Schwarzenegger have been rumored to be in the running to play the character. Chris Pratt, Gunn’s former MCU collaborator, has also shown interest.
