This event will also showcase top karate fighters from across the world. Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence will step up to train these main martial artists to perform their best in the upcoming tournament. However, the audience will know who will triumph once a part 3 drops, next year.
Part 1 was released on July 18, 2024, and Part 2 will come out in November 2024. Lastly, Part 3 will be released next year, sometime in 2025. Each part will have five episodes, Netflix revealed.
In a conversation with RadioTimes, Schlossberg elaborated on why they chose to release Season 6 in three parts, with 15 episodes in total.
He mentioned that 10 episodes wouldn’t have been enough to conclude, and neither did they want to stretch stories to more episodes. “It’s a lot to make 20 episodes, and we didn’t want to wait too long in terms of how they get released and how they all go out. And so 15 became a good number, like a supersize season, to pay off all these characters that we’ve set up,” he said. Thus, they went for five episodes in each part, making it easy for fans to binge.
