Peacock‘s new TV and movie releases for July 29 – August 4 2024 include Race to Survive (New Zealand) Season 2’s finale and the films Burning and The Wailing.
On July 29, the season finale of Race to Survive (New Zealand) Season 2 drops. This series sees challengers take part in a series of challenges testing their endurance racing, intuition, and survival skills as they navigate the rough terrains of New Zealand. It also tests their willpower and those who are strong enough to push through and reach the end are entitled to a grand prize.
Then on July 31, Wednesday, the Korean films Burning and The Wailing drop on Peacock.
Burning is an acclaimed South Korean film that follows an aspiring writer who goes to the airport to pick up his high-school friend only to be unexpectedly introduced to a mysterious man with whom he develops an intense and dark fascination.
The Wailing is an acclaimed horror mystery film that is also from South Korea. Following a stranger’s arrival in a small village, a mysterious illness starts plaguing the locals, and the policeman investigating this harrowing case must race against time and solve the mystery if he wishes to save his daughter in this acclaimed chiller.
Also releasing on Peacock this week is La Isla: Desafio Extremo Season 1 on the Telemundo channel.
La Isla: Desafio Extremo is a reality television show based on the Colombian reality series Desafio. The series sees a group of people put in an isolated location in Turkey. They are divided into three teams, Eagles, Sharks, and Panthers. The three teams then compete in a series of challenges to gain leadership, rewards, and immunity. The game sees contestants slowly eliminated via voting. The last person standing wins the ultimate prize of $200,000.
