He sent a statement to his political talk show, The Five, announcing that he and his wife have become parents to a baby girl. This joyful news has now cleared up all the rumors about his recent absence from television.

Recently, host Dana Perino addressed Gutfeld’s absence from Fox’s The Five, revealing it to be for a good reason. She shared a statement from Gutfeld, revealing that he and his wife have welcomed a new child. The statement read, “It’s with great joy that my wife Elena and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mira is healthy with a real set of healthy lungs. Mira’s beautiful eyes and my hard-rock abs.”
Additionally, he mentioned that they are trying to teach their daughter three new languages. Bringing up the baby girl’s observant skills, he revealed that she pointed out Jesse wears a toupee which even he playfully admits to. Moreover, he urged fans to value their privacy and extended thanks for all the good wishes they sent in. After learning about this, The Five team also congratulated Moussa and Gutfeld for becoming parents.
Previously, Gutfeld’s absence from The Five, and his late-night comedy show, ignited numerous rumors. Some fans assumed that he may have been fired from the network. Instead, it appears that Gutfeld’s time away was due to his commitment to his new role as a father.
Moussa and Gutfeld’s paths initially crossed in 2004 during their work trip to Portugal. After five months of dating, the couple quickly tied the knot in a civil ceremony in New York. Since then, the couple have mostly kept their relationship away from the public’s eye, only occasionally sharing glimpses into their lives.
