Peacock‘s new TV and movie releases for December 16-22 2024 include Laid and the extended cut of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
December 19 brings Laid to Peacock. This comedy-drama follows a woman who learns that her former lovers are dying in strange ways. This forces her to confront her past in order to move on. Stephanie Hsu, Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano, and Tommy Martinez star.
Then December 21 sees the extended cut of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story drop on the platform. The story follows Alana Higman, a Kansas City Chiefs superfan, and her family of Chiefs superfans, who compete to win the team’s Fan of the Year contest. However, Higman starts questioning her fate, destiny, and future with love interest Derrick after her grandfather’s vintage Chiefs good luck winter hat goes missing.
Also dropping on Peacock this week are the films Definitely, Maybe and Sing 2.
Definitely, Maybe follows Will, who tells his daughter the story of how he met her mother. Sing 2 follows Buster Moon, who goes on a quest to find lion rock legend Clay Calloway, who has become a recluse, and convince him to return to the stage after Moon and his crew suggest his casting in their new show to wolf mogul Jimmy Crystal.
