Netflix Schedule December 16-22 2024: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added

Netflix’s new TV and movie releases for December 16-22, 2024 include Virgin River Season 6 and The Dragon Prince Book 7.

December 19, Thursday, brings the latest seasons of both Virgin River and The Dragon Prince to Netflix. Virgin River Season 6 will see Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson) prepare for their wedding. They will also be seen converting Lily’s farm into their dream home.

Meanwhile, the latest season of The Dragon Prince, AKA Book 7: Dark, will follow Aaravos and Claudia, who attempt to destroy cosmic order and play with life and death. This forces Rayla, Callum, and Erzan on a perilous journey to save the world. Paula Burrows, Jack De Sena, and Sasha Rojen headline the series. Supporting cast members include Jesse Inocalla, Jason Simpson, Racquel Belmonte, Luc Roderique, Adrian Petriw, and Omari Newton.

Also coming out on Netflix this week are the first three seasons of The Equalizer.

The Equalizer is a crime-drama series centering around Robyn McCall, an ex-CIA operative who works as a vigilante. She strives to protect those who are harmed by criminals and have no one to turn to. Queen Latifah headlines the series, with Tory Kittles, Adam Goldberg, Liza Lapira, Laya DeLeon Hayes, Lorraine Toussaint, and Chris Noth in pivotal roles.
