Although she began posting cooking videos on Instagram and TikTok in July 2024, slowly but steadily increasing her following, she only started facing increased popularity on December 2, 2024, when she uploaded a video showing her holding a delicious breakfast.
In the video, she said, “One, two, Kya’s coming for you,” and continued, “Wake up and make your man some breakfast before I do.” Following this, she put whipping cream in her mouth and presented her cooked food while dancing and chanting her catchphrase.
The video garnered over 10 million views.

However, one woman defended her online. She wrote on X (previously Twitter), how Kya Renee exposed women’s “hypocrisy” in the “worst way” and called them out for bullying her.
