New horror series on Cartoon Network
Adult Swim is venturing into the world of horror with Stiff. The series follows a detective fresh outta hell who takes on monstrous cases. Matthew Maiellaro, one of the twisted screws behind “Aqua Teen Hunger Force,” sent Fango a number of stills (click the link above) and tells the site, “I’m trying to meld ‘Evil Dead II’ with ‘Kolchak.’ It’s totally tongue-in-cheek.” The block of wild, adult humor-laden programming that makes up Swim has been dabbling a lot lately in the world of live-action shows like Saul of the Mole Men and Tim and Eric Awesome Show.
