Bird With The Crystal Plummage Flies Again?

Argento is “okay” with that

In an interview with IGN, Italy’s Dario Argento revealed, “I think somebody also wants to remake Bird With the Crystal Plumage. I hear that somebody wants to do that, but this is much more difficult to remake because there’s a link to Italy in the 1970s, which is a little bit difficult to do. But if somebody wants to do that, okay.”

The 1970 original starred Tony Musante as a writer who is stalked by a serial killer after witnessing a murder attempt on one woman’s life.

Crystal Plummage, and other films of its ilk, inspired Argento to direct his latest opus, Giallo.

If Argento is corrected about the redo, it won’t be the first of his films to be remade. David Gordon Green is currently developing Suspiria.
