Here’s All Ashley Bell Can Say About The Last Exorcism 2…

Bell hit the genre scene as Nell Sweetzer in 2010’s The Last Exorcism, the Strike Entertainment production overseen by producer Eli Roth and directed by Daniel Stamm.  Naturally, given the opportunity to speak with Bell face-to-face today, we had to ask about the forthcoming The Last Exorcism 2, directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly.

To date, very little is known about the sequel other than it picks up months after the events of the first entry.  Nell is back and the film may or may not carry the moniker Beginning of the End: The Last Exorcism 2 (or, at least, that’s what some early casting sheets called the production).

When pressed for details about the new chapter, Bell laughed, suspecting we would bring it up.

“It’s again Eli Roth and Strike Entertainment.  It’s all done and scarier than the first one.  I don’t know how they did it,” she said, adding why she could say nothing more.  “I got a disembodied voice on the phone saying, ‘Don’t talk about the sequel.’  [So] I’m sworn to secrecy.”

Well, we wouldn’t want her to find out who was behind that ominous, disembodied voice making demands.  Could very well be the devil himself…

More with Bell (and Monaghan) soon!
