Halloween Horror Nights Orlando Reveal Three Original Houses for 2014

Having already revealed a number of haunted attractions for Halloween Horror Nights 24, Universal Orlando Resort has revealed details on their three originally houses that will aim to scare attendees into a frenzy. Read on for all the details.

The first is called “Dollhouse of the Damned” set inside an old-time morgue which a sinister little girl has turned into her own playground. Inside fans will see a number of horrific match-ups including people with newly placed doll parts.

“You’ll see characters with porcelain doll masks that have been smashed into their faces, and now they’re permanent,” Assistant Show Director Charles Gray. “They’re victims of this twisted amalgamation. It’s really creepy.”

The second house is titled “Giggles & Gore Inc” which is described as the secret factory where evil clowns are created.

“We all know that there are countless unsolved disappearances across the country. Where do these people end up? In the clown factory, being stretched, smashed and eviscerated,” Gray teased. “Faces are peeled off and voice boxes are torn out. Victims are dropped into a wood chipper, and the gunk that comes out is shoved into other people to create these massive, nasty stuffed clowns. Toward the end, you encounter the most evil of all evil clowns: The Discarded. These are the surviving clowns that have been cast down for being too dangerous to exist, even with other evil clowns.”

The final original house is titled “Roanoke – Cannibal Colony” which aims to tell the story of the lost colony of Roanoke.

“The year was 1587,” Gray says. “It was one of the first settlements of the colonial era. The people living here were expecting supplies from Europe, but there was a war going on so they couldn’t make the voyage. Three years later, when the supply ship finally arrived, everyone was gone…except the deranged cannibals who’d managed to survive by eating their fellow settlers. As a guest, you’re fighting you’re way through this chaotic gauntlet of flesh-hungry man-eaters.”

Two original “scare zones” were also announced for the Orlando attraction including “MASKerade; Unstitched,” which is described as people being trapped in an olden time period where their skin has begun to peel off; and “Bayou of Blood,” which centers on a voodoo priestess trying to gather as much power as she can, and even sacrifice victims in front of you.

Also featured at Halloween Horror Nights 24 are disturbingly-real experiences based on some of the most outrageously terrifying, highly-recognizable names in entertainment and pop culture.  Announced experiences include “The Walking Dead: The End of the Line,” based on AMC’s hit TV series, “From Dusk Till Dawn,” inspired by inspired by Robert Rodriguez’s cult film and El Rey network’s TV Series, “AVP: Alien vs. Predator,” based on the Twentieth Century Fox film franchise,  “Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood,” based on Universal Pictures’ upcoming epic action-adventure film, “Face Off: In the Flesh,” based on Syfy’s TV series and “Purge: Anarchy,” a new scare zone inspired by Universal Pictures’ blockbuster thriller.

Halloween Horror Nights 24 opens September 19 and lasts until November 1.
