Sony Pictures Entertainment has a long and successful history collaborating with Ghost House Pictures that includes six #1 box office hits, most recently Alvarezs Evil Dead, the hit retelling of Sam Raimis classic which grossed nearly $100 million in worldwide box office. Alvarez, who is set to direct, co-wrote the script with partner Rodo Sayagues.
Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert will produce for Ghost House. J.R. Young, Nathan Kahane and Joe Drake will executive produce. Erin Westerman will oversee for the company.
