Master of horror Mick Garris reveals details about new multi-director anthology film.
As we reported here last month, horror icon Mick Garris has a new anthology film in development, a film that aims to capture the spirit of his lamented and landmark TV series MASTERS OF HORROR.
This past weekend, at Mexican horror film festival MORBIDO, Garris confirmed the details about the film.
From Garris:
NIGHTMARE CINEMA will begin shooting in early 2016; it is a collection of five stories from five esteemed horror filmmakers (okay, four plus me). Joe Dante (THE HOWLING, GREMLINS), Japans Ryuhei Kitamura (MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN, VERSUS), David Slade (HANNIBAL, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT) from the UK and the Cuban director Alejandro Brugues (JUAN OF THE DEAD) will each be directing scripts from Richard Christian Matheson, Mexican author Sandra Becerril, David Slade and myself!
We at SHOCK couldnt be more excited about NIGHTMARE CINEMA, which will be produced by Garris Nice Guy Entertainment in collusion with Good Deed Entertainment. Nice Guy. Good Deed. Sounds like karma will be on their side!
