Seasonal horror flick KRAMPUS takes top spot during opening weekend.
Every time a horror film does well at the domestic US box office, it’s good news as that can mean only one thing: Hollywood will make more horror movies!
So with that, we’re excited to reveal that Michael Dougherty’s anti-holiday horror comedy KRAMPUS has conquered its opening weekend, raking in $6 million on Friday and with a total estimated 3 day take of $15 million, VARIETY reports.
The Universal–Legendary flick opened in 2,902 U.S. locations.
This is happy news for Dougherty, whose beloved 2007 seasonal shocker TRICK ‘R TREAT was never given a chance to find its theatrical audience.
Have you seen KRAMPUS yet? What did you think?
