Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan gave away back-to-back three entertainers in 2023. His film Pathaan came out to be a record-breaking one, while Jawan marked his first collaboration with director Atlee. SRK’s last outing was Dunki. Following a successful year, a report claimed that the actor was approached for an extended cameo in Yash starrer Toxic. However, the KGF star himself has now addressed the rumors.
It has been over a year since fans watched Yash on the big screens. Last year, in December, the actor announced his collaboration with Geetu Mohandas for Toxic. The makers dropped a teaser featuring a rough image of Yash to announce the movie. The teaser revealed that the movie will be an action thriller as Yash could be seen holding a gun in his hand. The tagline of the film reads, “A fairytale for grown-ups.”
Yash asks fans not to trust rumors addressing reports of SRK’s cameo
Ever since Toxic was announced, several rumors have made rounds. One of them mentioned that Kareena Kapoor Khan would play the leading lady in Yash’s next film. Recently, a report claimed that Shah Rukh Khan has been approached for an extended cameo in the movie. According to the Times of India, Yash recently attended a press conference addressing these rumors about Toxic. The actor mentioned that nothing about the movie has been finalized yet.
He further confirmed that the makers will soon announce Toxic cast and other details. Till then, Yash has asked fans not to believe these rumors. However, the reports suggested that Shah Rukh Khan has not confirmed whether he has accepted the offer.
KVN Productions is bankrolling the Yash starrer. Toxic will mark the actor’s first outing since KGF: Chapter 2. The movie is expected to hit theaters in April 2025.
