Telugu star Varun Tej‘s Operation Valentine is among his most awaited films. Unfortunately, the movie has faced a major delay and is now set to hit the theaters in less than two weeks. While the clock is ticking on the film’s official release date, fans are wondering when they will be able to catch the movie’s trailer. The answer is “Soon!” The makers of the movie recently announced its theatrical trailer’s release date, as they call it, the ‘Final Strike.’
Operation Valentine will mark Varun Tej’s debut in Hindi cinema. The movie is being simultaneously made in both Hindi and Telugu. The film will be Manushi Chhillar’s debut Telugu outing as well. Per the film’s teaser, Tej has taken up the role of IAF officer Rudra. Meanwhile, Manushi plays the role of a radar controller. Shakti Pratap Singh Hada is directing the film, while Sony Pictures and Renaissance Pictures are producing it.
Operation Valentine is based on true events and the biggest airstrikes in the history of India. While it has not been confirmed yet, various reports suggest that the movie follows the events of the 2019 Balakot Airstrike. It seems that this would be revealed only after the film’s final trailer.
When will Operation Valentine’s theatrical trailer release?
Operation Valentine was earlier set to release on February 16, two days after Valentine’s Day. However, the movie faced a major delay and has been postponed to the next month. After a lot of waiting, the makers recently revealed that Operation Valentine’s theatrical trailer will be revealed on February 20.
Announcing the same, Varun Tej took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and wrote, “Super excited! The countdown for the #FinalStrike of #OperationValentine has begun. Get ready to witness the ultimate aerial showdown!”
Operation Valentine will hit the theaters on March 1, 2024.
