After 20 years of Masti, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani are gearing up to reunite for Masti 4.
Great Grand Masti, released in 2016, marked the third installment in the Masti film series, following Masti (2004) and Grand Masti (2013). Directed by Indra Kumar, the movie featured Shreyas Talpade, Urvashi Rautela, and Karishma Tanna, among other talents. Sameer Nair, Aman Gill, Ashok Thakeria, Markand Adhikari, and Anand Pandit served as producers under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures, Maruti International, and Sri Adhikari Brothers.
Recently, the makers of Masti 4 shared a logo of the upcoming movie, sending fans a buzz. Check out the announcement:
Masti 4 movie to go on floors soon
Recently, Vivek Oberoi took to his Instagram to share a logo for Masti 4. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Revving up for the ultimate blast from the past! Brace yourselves as we dive back into the OG fun-filled adventure with #Masti4, ready to hit the floor soon! With the super team of A Jhunjhunwala, S. K. Ahluwalia, Indra Kumar, and Ashok Thakeria on board as producers, and the lovely Milap Zaveri as our director, we are all set for an epic ride! Let’s bring on the laughter and memories! #BackToTheMasti”
The director, Milap Zaveri, also shared his excitement for the film in a press statement. He said, “At its core, Masti 4 is a celebration of friendship, marriage, mischief, and the undying spirit of laughter. We want to go back to the OG for its essence and bring back laughter with a new story that will resonate while delivering a fresh dose of hilarity and heart.”
Further details regarding the movie’s shoot are yet to be revealed by the makers. Apart from Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani, the first Masti movie also featured Amrita Rao, Genelia D’Souza, and Tara Sharma.
