The teaser trailer for Vidya Balan‘s upcoming movie, Do Aur Do Pyaar, premiered on March 21, 2024, and promises a fresh take on modern-day relationships. Helmed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, the romantic comedy is produced by Applause Entertainment and Ellipsis Entertainment. It also stars Ileana D’Cruz, Sendhil Ramamurthy, and Pratik Gandhi in the lead roles. Do Aur Do Pyaar is based on the 2017 movie The Lovers and will hit theatres on April 19, 2024.

Vidya Balan’s Do Aur Do Pyaar teaser released
The makers and the cast of Do Aur Do Pyaar unveiled the teaser trailer for the film on their respective social media accounts. They captioned the post with, “This summer, feel the heat with love that’s surprising, confusing and consuming! #DoAurDoPyaarTeaser out now. Releasing in cinemas on 19th April 2024. #DoAurDoPyaar”
In the romantic-comedy, Vidya Balan will play Kavya, Ileana D’Cruz will play Nora, Pratik Gandhi will play Ani, and Sendhil Ramamurthy will play Vikram. Previously, the makers shared character posters for the cast where each poster included the character’s name along with their introduction.
The teaser trailer opens with a married couple, Kavya and Ani, enjoying a meal on their couch. When Ani offers Kavya his ice-cream, she denies it, stating that she is a vegan. Her husband then points out that her face wash contains milk as well. The clip then features mushy moments between another couple, Nora and Vikram.
The two couple are shown attempting to reignite the passion and excitement in their relationships. From going on movie dates to travelling, the characters try their best to bring back the magic. In the end, Nora tells Vikram that married couples don’t have sex but teaser ends with Kavya and Ani getting intimate with each other.
