Manoj Bajpayee, who plays the role of Srikanth Tiwari in the highly popular series The Family Man, recently hinted at an intriguing crossover with Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi season 2 in season 3. Both Amazon Prime Video series, crafted by the iconic duo Raj & DK, might just be up for a potential collaboration.
Will there be a crossover between Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man season 3 & Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi season 2?
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Manoj Bajpayee was asked about the rumors of a crossover between The Family Man and Farzi. He humorously dodged the question by saying, “The American contract is so strict, if I say something, then I will have to pay back some amount which I am not getting as well. That’s why I can’t say anything.” Despite his evasiveness, he left fans with a teaser, “But, Bohot Majja Aaaney Wala Hai” (It’s going to be fun).
Although Manoj Bajpayee did not give insight into the possible collaboration, he did offer a sneak peek into the ongoing production of The Family Man season 3. “Phir wapas main shoot shuru karunga is month ke end me, Bhaiyya Ji ke release ke baad. To ye chalta rahega, November end tak humara schedule hai. Baaki tracks hai unki bhi shooting chal rahi hai,” he shared. (I will start shooting again by the end of the month after Bhaiyya Ji releases. Our schedule goes until the end of November. Other tracks are also being filmed.)
However, that’s not all. Manoj Bajpayee further hinted at what to expect from the series: “So this is going to be far bigger and better than the previous two, “ he quipped.
Earlier, Shahid Kapoor also confirmed that Farzi would return for a second season. Amazon Prime Video has yet to announce the exact release date for Farzi season 2. However, it is anticipated to debut in late 2024 or early 2025. This timeline aligns well with the expected progression of The Family Man Season 3, paving the way for potential crossover events that fans eagerly speculate about.
