Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 8 Recap: Lee Yoo-Mi Confesses Her Love for Ong Seong-Wu

Popular K-drama Strong Girl Nam-soon aired its weekly episodes on Saturday, October 28, and Sunday, October 29, 2023. The series, which airs on JTBC and Netflix, follows the story of three generations of powerful women investigating drug-related crimes in Gangnam. Starring Lee Yoo-Mi and Ong Seong-Wu as leads, the drama has gained significant popularity.

On Episode 8 of Strong Girl Nam-soon, the lead couple shared a sweet moment as Gang Nam-Soon (Lee Yoo-Mi) confessed her feelings towards Gang Hee-Sik (Ong Seong-Wu). Episode 8 of Strong Girl Nam-soon showcased Gang Nam-Soon (Lee Yoo-Mi) and Gang Hee-Sik (Ong Seong-Wu) teaming up to uncover the dark secrets of a drug-related organization. Nam-Soon works with the company’s boss, Ryu Shi-Oh (Byeon Woo-Seok), while police officer Hee-Sik conducts his investigation from the outside.

Both Nam-Soon and Hee-Sik meet up for drinks after spending a hectic day and share information with each other. Hee-Sik asks Nam-Soon to back away from the case, warning her that Ryu Shi-Oh is a dangerous man. However, Nam-Soon reveals that she is purposely choosing to keep the company’s boss near her to uncover his secret.

The two bond over the death of the company’s employee and share their thoughts about capitalism. Nam-Soon promises to be the light for people, and Hee-Sik promises to help her. The duo share a warm moment when Hee-Sik compliments her rosy cheeks. Nam-Soon loves the compliment and tells him how many Mongolian women have rosy cheeks.

When Hee-Sik offers to visit Mongolia, Nam-Soon says, “Why would you go there when you can just date me?” This leaves him flustered, but soon, Nam-Soon says something in Mongolian that he fails to understand. She says, “Bi chamd khairtai,” which in Mongolian translates to “I love you.” It looks like Nam-Soon is head over heels in love with Hee-Sik.
