KBS released The Matchmakers Episode 10 trailer after airing this week’s episode on Tuesday. Starring Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun, the K-drama is set to begin a beautiful romance between the lead characters.
In episode 9, Rowoon’s Jung-Woo confessed his love to Joo-Daek, but the latter rejected him. The ending showed him asking her why she lied about her feelings to him. Jung-Woo is the widowed Prince and Yeo Joo-Daek is a matchmaker in disguise. Her real identity is Soon-Daek, the Left State Minister’s widowed daughter-in-law.

The Matchmakers Episode 10 will air on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 9:45 p.m. KST on KBS. It will later be available on Viki.
In the previous episode, Cho Yi-Hyun‘s Soon-Daek and Rowoon’s Jung-Woo went to meet a monk who wrote about a murder case in a novel. The latest episode 10 trailer begins with the monk stating that he mentioned all the details in that book.
Meanwhile, the Left State Minister and his wife plot against the Crown Prince’s marriage. They may create trouble for Jung-Woo who is on the King’s mission to find matches for three old maidens.
The Matchmakers episode 10 preview further shows Soon-Daek realizing her feelings for Rowoon’s Jung-Woo. He keeps imagining him during her daily chores. The trailer ends with her saying, “I also want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
It seems like the murder case will bring the two closer. However, Jung-Woo is still unaware of her real identity. She is the widow of the Left State Minister’s second son and adopted the deceased eldest son’s child. Meanwhile, she and Jung-Woo investigate the murder of the eldest son from eight years ago.
The Matchmakers airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on KBS and Viki.
