The finale episodes 5 and 6 of Soundtrack #2, the highly riveting romantic K-Drama, arrived on Disney Plus, on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Choi Jung-Kyu and Kim Hee-Won serve as the directors of the series. Noh Sang-Hyun plays the lead role of Ji Su-Ho, while Geum Sae-Rok portrays the other main character Do Hyeon-Seo. The K-Drama revolves around an intriguing love story between the two.
Viewers of Soundtrack #2 have been eagerly waiting to see how the final episodes turn out, especially after episode 4 ends on an enthralling note with the lead pair sharing a passionate kiss for the first time after their break up several years ago. The two finale episodes take the audience on an emotional ride as they see the two getting back together and breaking up once again. However, in the end, Hyeon-Seo and Su-Ho found a way to go back to each other.
Soundtrack #2 Ending: What happens between Su-Ho and Hyeon-Seo at the end?
The final episodes of Soundtrack #2 begin right where the previous episode ends. After sharing a passionate kiss, Hyeon-Seo and Su-Ho end up spending the night together. The next morning, the two try to hide the situation from Jin-Kyeong and Chang-Sik. Thus, Su-Ho sneaks out from the music academy. Later on, Hyeon-Seo and K have dinner together.
During their dinner, Hyeon-Seo tries to answer K’s confession from the other day. K has strong romantic feelings for her. However, he requests her to not answer right away as it may impact their performance at the final shoot of their music video. Thus, Hyeon-Seo keeps her answer till the end of the shoot. The day of the shoot arrives and both K and Hyeon-Seo give their all. The shoot turns out to be great. At the end of it, Hyeon-Seo gives her answer to K. However, the episode does not reveal her answer yet. K leaves for the U.S. that day.
Later on, Hyeon-Seo and Su-Ho celebrate the success of the music video shoot with Chang-Sik and Jin-Kyeong. During the celebration, when Chang-Sik asks if Hyeon-Seo and Su-Ho are back together, Hyeon-Seo says that it’s complicated between them. The answer disturbs with Su-Ho’s mind. That night, Su-Ho ends up watching behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot. While watching them, he finds out that Hyeon-Seo sees K as his friend only. Thus, he gets relieved.
Soon, the two end up getting back together in no time. The two start spending a lot of time together and are quite happy to be in each other’s company. However, it does not last very long as their differences in life start to come up once again between them. Su-Ho is now extremely successful, while Hyeon-Seo is still struggling to pay her rent properly.
Su-Ho wants to help her financially and thus, pays for 12 months of her rent without asking for her permission. This upsets Hyeon-Seo as it affects her self-respect deeply. Their relationship falls up from there and the two end up breaking up again.
Towards the end of the finale of Soundtrack #2, Hyeon-Seo has a conversation with K on the phone. During their conversation, K tells her that her and Su-Ho’s love for each other inspired him to write the beautiful lyrics of their song, which has now become a hit. He also tells him that Su-Ho loves her very much. Later on, Hyeon-Seo also gets to see the footage from their music practice at Su-Ho’s house. After watching that, she realizes how much Su-Ho loves her.
Thus, at the end of Soundtrack #2, Hyeon-Seo writes an email to Su-Ho, telling him how her inability to love herself affected their relationship. However, she has realized her worth from seeing how much Su-Ho loves her and has decided finally to take a trip to Santiago. She ends the email by taking him. At the very end of the finale, Hyeon-Seo goes to the airport to catch her flight to Santiago. There, she sees Su-Ho, who has also planned to go to Santiago.
The K-Drama ends with the two reconciling with each other and going on a trip to Santiago together. Thus, Soundtrack #2 ends on a happy and satisfactory note.
