ENA recently shared a new trailer of Like Flowers in Sand episode 3. Starring Jang Dong-Yoon as Kim Baek-Du and Lee Joo-Myoung as Oh Yu-Gyeong, the K-drama is a sports romance drama about a wrestler.
In episode 2, Baek-Du becomes persistent about Oh Yu-Gyeong being his childhood friend, Oh Du-Sik. However, she denies it every time, but Baek-Du does not seem to drop the topic. In the recently released episode 3 trailer, he shares his thoughts with his cop friend, Cho Seok-Hui. Yu-Gyeong gets annoyed at Baek-Du, leading to a banter between the two.

Like Flowers in Sand episode 3 trailer begins with Baek-Du (Jang Dong-Yoo) convincing Cho Seok-Hui that Yu-Gyeong is Du-Sik. She catches Baek-Du in action and confronts him. She tells him that she is not Du-Sik and that he should stop spreading rumors. Yu-Gyeong asks him if she ever said that she was his childhood friend. He says no. She further raises her voice at him and asks him to stop calling her Du-Sik.
In a previous trailer, Baek-Du learns that Lee Joo-Myoung’s character is married. Meanwhile, she brings a new wrestling coach for the Ssireum team and doesn’t let Baek-Du retire. However, her decision annoys him as the new coach is his nemesis, Kwak Jin-Su. As such, while the lead characters grow closer, the Geosan County residents get curious about Yu-Gyeong and her husband, Min Hyun-Wook.

Like Flowers in Sand episode 3 will premiere on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 9 p.m. KST on ENA. The K-drama also streams on Netflix.
The Jang Dong-Yoo series airs twice a week—Wednesdays and Thursdays. It consists of 12 episodes.
