KBS recently shared the Love Song for Illusion episode 6 trailer, starring Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji. The K-drama revolves around a Crown Prince and his alter personality falling in love with a woman seeking revenge on the royal family.
In episode 5 ending, Sajo Hyeon’s dual personality Ak-Hee saves Kyera from attackers. They jump into a river, sharing a passionate kiss in the water. Ak-Hee confesses to himself that he loves her while a dark force surrounds Sajo Hyeon.
The episode 6 trailer hints at the Crown Prince taking over his mind and trapping Ak-Hee again. While Sajo Hyeon helps Kyera to escape royal guards, he is likely to get stabbed by the White Knife rebel group.

Love Song for Illusion episode 6 trailer teases the new King’s plot to kill Park Ji-Hoon
In Love Song for Illusion, Hong Ye-Ji plays Yeon Wol, a descendant of a noble family killed by the King. She becomes an assassin named Kyera to avenge her clan’s death. In episode 5, the King dies, and everyone blames Kyera; therefore, Park Ji-Hoon’s character rescues her from the palace.
The latest Love Song for Illusion episode 6 trailer shows Crown Prince Sajo Hyeon saving Kyera. He tells her that if she chooses to join her rebel group again, she will one day draw a sword against him. They also share a few heart-fluttering moments in the video.
After they parted ways in the village, a group of royal guards attacked the villagers, leaving Sajo Hyeon in shock. Kyera, on the other hand, learns that the King’s illegitimate son, Sajo Yung, took over the throne, implying that the Crown Prince’s life is in danger. The trailer further shows attackers stabbing Sajo Hyeon.
Love Song for Illusion episode 6 will premiere on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 10.10 p.m. KST on KBS2. It will also stream on Viki.
