Popular K-drama Queen of Tears is set to air two new episodes, 5 and 6, this week on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. The episodes will also be available on Netflix. The show follows the tumultuous love story of a married couple, chaebol heiress Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) and Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun). The duo face a crisis in their relationship and work through their differences to fall in love again.
The newly released trailer of Queen of Tears Episodes 5 and 6 takes viewers into the past when Baek Hyun-Woo and Hong Hae-In dated each other. The latter meets Hyun-Woo’s sister, Baek Mi-Sun (Jang Yoon-Ju), who advises her to stop seeing him. The two get into an argument, discussing how Hae-In completely differs from Hyun-Woo’s ideal woman. This backstory will give fans a deeper glimpse of the couple’s dating life.
Queen of Tears Episodes 5 & 6 trailer: Kim Ji-Won is asked to break up with Kim Soo-Hyun
The trailer for episodes 5 and 6 of Queen of Tears is a flashback to Baek Hyun-Woo and Hong Hae-In dating. The latter meets with Hyun-Woo’s older sister, Baek Mi-Sun, who asks Hae-In to stop dating her brother. However, Hae-In sternly declines the offer, determined to see their relationship through. This leads to an argument between the two, with Mi-Sun calling Hae-In “selfish.”
Mi-Sun then talks about how many intelligent women are lining up to meet Hyun-Woo, including civil servants and employees from major companies. Hyun-Woo arrives just in time to stop their conversation, slamming his sister for spewing nonsense. He asks Mi-Sun to stop overreacting, blaming her reactions on the dramas she watches. Hae-In tries to calm him down when Mi-Sun asks them to break up before they get too close to each other.
Mi-Sun then makes a startling revelation. She explains how Hae-In is not Hyun-Woo’s ideal woman. This leaves Hae-In shocked and in need of an explanation. She asks Mi-Sun about his perfect woman. Mi-Sun expresses Hyun-Woo’s ideal woman as innocent, pretty, and someone as delicate as the dew. She further notes how Hyun-Woo has been talking about it since high school.
When Hae-In confronts Hyun-Woo about the same, he doesn’t decline. However, he expresses being in love with Hae-In, requesting her not to pay any heed to his sister. He holds her hand and leaves the cafe, leaving Mi-Sun shocked.
