K-drama Crash episode 3 spoilers: Kwak Sun-Young & Lee Min-Ki go undercover for the ghost scam case

Crash episode 3 begins with Yeon-Ho, So-Hee, and Dong-Gi witnessing a ghost in white clothes causing the car accident. As soon as they stop their car, a group of tow trucks arrive. When So-Hee reveals that they are cops, the drivers leave. At the station, So-Hee and Yeon-Ho discuss the incident with the team. A similar thing happened with a drunk driver a few days ago.

The TCI team begins their investigation and learns that multiple accidents have happened under the same tunnel. Additionally, two such accidents lead to death. So-Hee and Yeon-Ho question vendors around that area and learn that most of the accidents occurred on a clear day. They are confused because the roads were wet on a non-rainy day.

Furthermore, the two bumped into each other one night near the tunnel. Both of them come to investigate the truth about the ghost. They discover the ghost is apparently a human wearing mourning clothes. So-Hee and Yeon-Ho learn that an old lady used to roam around wearing mourning clothes at night. Because of her, the first accident occurred near the tunnel. But she passed away a year ago; therefore, the ghost is someone pretending to be her.

The team digs deeper into the first accident and discovers the victim is one of the tow truck drivers they met the other day. Now, the only way to lure out the culprits is to go undercover. In Crash K-drama episode 3, So-Hee purchases a worn-out car and intentionally gets into an accident near the tunnel. The tow truck driver, Choi Bum-Gu, arrives, leading her to an auto shop owner, Lee Seun-Ghak. Finally, she meets the third culprit, car rental owner Shin Jung-Geun.

Meanwhile, Yeon-Ho finds bags of calcium chloride at the rental owner’s shop. His research concludes that the three culprits run a scam and cause accidents intentionally. After a rainy day, they scatter calcium chloride to keep the roads wet for a long time.

Crash Korean drama episode 3 ending: A mysterious envelope leaves Lee Min-Ki in shock

In Crash K-drama episode 3, the TCI team secretly records the scam. In the end, they arrive at the rental shop and attack the culprits. While So-Hee, Chae-Man, and Hyeon-Kyung beat up the bad guys, Yeon-Ho and Dong-Gi put handcuffs on them.

After a long day at work, So-Hee offers to drop Yeon-Ho off as her father comes to pick her up. In the car, her father tells Yeon-Ho about So-Hee’s childhood.

When he reaches his home, Yeon-Ho finds an envelope in his mailbox. In it, he finds an old report of the deaths of a couple. Meanwhile, someone keeps an eye on him outside his apartment. It appears Yeon-Ho has a secret, which will be revealed in the upcoming episodes.
