CJ ENM denies Lovely Runner actor Byeon Woo-Seok & Eclipse’s performance at KCON LA 2024
As mentioned above, several media outlets had previously stated that Lovely Runner’s Byeon Woo-Seok and the band Eclipse would take the stage at KCON LA 2024. This had excited fans, as it would be an interesting opportunity to see the fictional boy band come to life. However, CJ ENM, the host of KCON, recently clarified the matter.
CJ ENM released an official statement on June 4, debunking the speculations. It read, “The report that Eclipse is appearing on KCON is a misconception. It is not true.” They further stated, “Eclipse is not in the KCON lineup. They are not in the list of scheduled appearances on Mnet’s M Countdown.”
In Lovely Runner, Byeon Woo-Seok’s character, Ryu Sun-Jae, is the main vocalist of Eclipse. Meanwhile, Lee Seung-Hyub’s character, Baek In-Hyuk, is the band’s leader, vocalist, and guitarist. Moon Xion’s character, Hyun-Soo, is the drummer, and finally, Yang Hyuk’s character, Jay, is the bassist and another vocalist in the band.
Eclipse has a mini album called Special Mini Album Eclipse. It contains the pre-release songs that they performed throughout Lovely Runner. It also has another new CD-only single. These singles by Byeon Woo-Seok’s Eclipse include “Sudden Shower,” “You & I,” “No Fate,” “Run Run,” and “I’ll Be There.”
