Actor Ji Chang-Wook has given an update on his brand-new K-drama, where he will act alongside EXO member Doh Kyung Soo, aka D.O.. He has recently been receiving much positive attention from fans since the news of his new Korean movie Revolver broke on social media. The actor will play the negative character, Andy, in the upcoming film. The title will debut in theaters on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in South Korea.
Amidst the promotion of Revolver, Ji Chang-Wook appeared on the popular Korean variety show, You Quiz On The Block, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. While on the show, hosted by Yoo Jae-Suk and Jo Se-Ho, the actor confirmed that his upcoming Korean drama will be with EXO’s D.O..

The beloved South Korean actor Ji Chang-Wook and EXO’s D.O. have been in talks to play the main characters in the upcoming K-drama, Sculpture City, since last year November. As mentioned earlier, the former finally confirmed that his new show will be with the popular K-pop boy group member while appearing on the show, You Quiz On The Block. Thus, it is quite evident that his next project will be Sculpture City. He will play the protagonist in the story, while D.O. will portray the antagonist.
The upcoming series promises to be a highly electrifying revenge thriller K-drama. The critically acclaimed screenplay writer of Taxi Driver, Oh Sang-Ho, serves as the writer of Sculpture City. In the meantime, renowned South Korean director Kim Chang-Ju helms the revenge drama. He is best known for directing the 2021 Korean film Hard Hit, which also starred Ji Chang-Wook.
The upcoming K-drama will revolve around the fascinating story of a man who experiences a series of terrible incidents. His life turns into an absolute hell. Everything happens after a villainous menacing character manipulates him. He is someone who ‘sculpts’ real hells for individuals to stay in it. Thus, fans are in for an exciting new ride.
