Lee Seohan issues apology after deleting video
K-drama actor Lee Seohan apologized to fans for his May 2 Instagram story which was an inside ‘joke.’ The actor confessed: “About the video uploaded yesterday, it was a joke between male friends. I apologize to both Ye Dam and Ye Dam’s fans regarding the fact that the video was filmed in Ye Dam’s studio.”
Seohan also urged fans not to make any groundless assumptions about the nature of the video, clarifying that nothing illegal happened. He added, “I apologize for giving cause for concern to the people who watched the video, and I will be careful [in the future].”
Seohan explained the context of the night where the controversial video was filmed noting, “My close friends and I like to visit Yedam’s studio and listen to music, watch movies, and drink together. Yesterday, five of us gathered and drank, and one drunk friend and Yedam went home after midnight.”
He added, “The remaining friends and I had a bit more to drink and accidentally posted a staged video that’s common these days to my public account instead of my private one.”
Moreover, the actor confirmed that nothing illegal happened during the filming. He reassured fans that he would be more careful about his acting in the future and remorseful to those who unfortunately came across the video.
Meanwhile, K-pop soloist Bang Yedam also posted a separate apology on his Instagram story writing, “I am so sorry for causing concern.” Bang Yedam recently made a comeback in 2024, releasing a non-album single, “Officially Cool,” with Aespa’s Winter.
