BTS Festa Songs: ‘Still With You,’ ‘4 O’Clock,’ ‘Take Two’ & More Anniversary Tracks

BTS ARMY is gearing up for Festa 2024. The latest edition of BTS anniversary events will include the release of Jungkook’s new song, “Never Let Go.” BTS has released quite a few Festa songs for their past anniversary events.

The K-pop septet BTS debuted on June 12, 2013, with the single album 2 Cool 4 Skool and the title track, “No More Dream.” Since then, Bangtan Boys have released over eight studio albums and several history-making singles.

Amid their official comebacks and single releases, BTS released memorable Festa songs for fans every year in June. So, let’s look at some of the most popular BTS Festa songs that make ARMY nostalgic.

‘4’ O Clock’

BTS leader RM (Kim Namjoon) and V‘s (Kim Taehyung) Festa collaboration track “4 O’Clock” dropped on June 9, 2017, making fans emotional. The song was produced by Namjoon and Taehyung and arranged by famous South Korean K-drama OST singer Shaun.

What makes “4 O’Clock” special for fans is its stylistic choices. The minimal arrangement of the song highlights V’s vocals flawlessly, and the heart-piercing lyrics make it an evergreen gem of a track that fans can’t get enough of.

Along with V’s beautiful singing, “4 O’Clock” features RM’s sharp rap where the Bangtan icon says: “I can’t help it, there’s no other way/ I collect myself that’s shattered beneath the moonlight/ I call you moonchild/ We are the children of the moon/ I breathe the cold night air/ Yes we’re livin’ and dyin’/ At the same time/ But you can open your eyes for now/ Just like that movie like the line (from the movie)/ The entire world is blue inside the moonlight.”

‘Ddaeng’

Bangtan rap line’s Festa song Ddaeng became wildly popular after its release in 2018. The lyrical masterpiece spotlights BTS rap line (RM, Suga, and J-hope) members’ wordplay ability and sends a strong message to ‘haters’ who downplayed the K-pop group’s early success.

Though an ‘unofficial’ release, Ddaeng’s fame made the song a regular in the BTS live setlist. Later, the BTS vocal line also performed the song live, showing appreciation for the genius track.

In “Ddaeng,” the angry BTS disses the world, rapping, “Thanks to you, Billboard, bae/ Nobody’s above us/ ‘Cause we’re failing (Hahaha) Thanks/ Thank you, thank you, thank you/ Thank you for ignoring us until now/ Thank you, stadium, dome, Billboard/ Thanks to you, we became successful/ You small friendly companies/ I hope you all become big soon/ We’ll fail again like you wish/ So please keep worrying.”

‘Still With You’

The youngest BTS member, Jeon Jungkook, released his solo Festa song “Still With You” on June 5, 2020. The song was an instant hit among BTS ARMY, who praised JK’s smooth vocals. “Still With You” sounds like a love letter to fans, and the sentimental lyrics of the track make listeners appreciate Jungkook’s emotions.

In “Still With You,” Jungkook promises to stay with fans for a long time, singing, “Behind the faint smile that looked at me/ will draw a beautiful purple shade/ Though our footsteps may be out of step/ I want to walk this path with you/ Still with you.”

Bicycle

RM shared one of his solo tracks, “Bicycle,” as a special gift to fans for Festa 2021. Namjoon’s love for “Bicycle” is well-known in BTS fandom, and the song captures his journey with the two-wheeler, which makes him the happiest.

In the slow and mellow track, RM urges fans also to take a ride in their bicycles to explore the simple joys of life, singing, “Let it roll sometimеs/ Like the wheels in a bike/ Thеre’s something I have to find/ It’s like an afternoon snack/ I feel like I’ve lived just for this little moment/ Everything could be like a personal midday dream on these two.”

‘Take Two’

BTS’ “Take Two” is the last OT7 song released before the group’s hiatus due to their military enlistment. The song was a message to fans urging them to stay with the group as they venture into chapter 2 of their journey.

As BTS’s last OT7 song before their long break, it became an instant favorite of fans. It garnered over 60.2 million streams and charting at number one on Billboard Global 200. The song’s live performance on YouTube also received over 43 million views.

Apart from the aforementioned tracks, some more mentionable BTS Festa songs include: “Tonight” by Jin (2019), “We Are Bulletproof Part 1” (2015) and “So 4 More” (2014).
