K-pop record-making group BTS‘ icon Jimin is gearing up for his comeback in 2024 with a solo album, Muse. The singer teased a “La Lettra” snippet of the album before sharing pre-order details.
BTS‘ Jimin officially debuted with the titular EP Face on March 24, 2023. The extended play performed exceptionally in the music charts, selling over 1,700,000 copies worldwide within a week of its release—the mini album sold over 196,000 units in the United States within the first week of its drop. The impressive sales numbers in the U.S. resulted in the album ranking second on the Billboard 200 chart.
BTS Jimin returns with second solo album MUSE, pre-orders begun
Pre-orders for Jimin’s 2024 new album, Muse, started on Tuesday, June 18. BTS ARMY can place pre-orders from Weverse Shop global, Japan, and U.S. versions till July 18, 2024. The album will be officially released on July 19 at 1 p.m. KST, 12 a.m. ET, 9.30 a.m. ET and 6 a.m. CET.
According to BigHit Music, fans can choose from four album versions: Random, Set, Weverse Version, and a combination of Weverse and Set editions. Overseas fans can order three versions, including the Blooming, Serenade, or Weverse editions. Target will also carry two exclusive versions of the album.
Target‘s exclusive Jimin Muse is priced at $24.99 and comes with a CD, but fans who place the pre-order now can get it for $22.99. Other Weverse exclusive collections, like the Blooming or Serenade edition, are priced at $23.90 and currently available at $21.90.
From the thoughtful version names to the teaser that contains a sweet message for ARMY, the album’s initial announcement is already making K-pop fans emotional. Furthermore, BigHit Music started the promotion of Jimin’s Muse with a ‘La Lettra’ teaser. The video unveiled Jimin holding a music sheet that says, ‘La Lettra’ at the top.
Right below ‘La Lettra,’ Jimin dedicates a touching message to fans, saying, “You will always find the first letter.” For the uninitiated, ‘La Lettre’ means ‘The Letter’ in Corsican. So, fans speculate that the upcoming album of the “Like Crazy” crooner will have a sentimental message for BTS ARMY. Stay tuned for more updates!
