As production continues in Glasgow, another set of behind-the-scenes videos for HBO Max’s next DC film Batgirl has surfaced online, teasing one of the film’s many action sequences.
The Batgirl set videos, which you can check out below, provided us with our first glimpse at Brendan Fraser’s Firefly suit. It’s unclear if Fraser was the one wearing the costume or if it’s his stunt double doing the fiery chase scene. Leslie Grace’s titular hero can also be seen in the videos as she pursues the villain down Gotham’s streets on her signature Batcycle.

The Batgirl film stars Leslie Grace (In the Heights) as she portrays the role of Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon. The live-action film will also feature the return of Oscar winner J.K. Simmons (Zack Snyder’s Justice League) and Michael Keaton (The Flash), who are set to reprise their respective roles of Commissioner Gordon, and Bruce Wayne/ Batman.
The hero was first seen in the 1967 Batman series with the late Yvonne Craig playing Barbara. The hero’s first comic book appearance was in Detective Comics #357 by writer Gardner Fox and artist Carmine Infantino.

Additional cast includes Jacob Scipio, Ethan Kai, Corey Johnson, Rebecca Front, and Brendan Fraser in his second role with the DC Universe as the villain Firefly.
Batgirl is being directed by Bad Boys for Life filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a screenplay written by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey, The Flash). It is a production by Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films, with Kristin Burr (Cruella) producing. Filming is currently underway in Scotland.
