Tom Cruise celebrated his 61st birthday on July 3, and despite his age, the veteran actor has no plans of slowing down. There have been rumors that Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Parts One and Two will be Cruise’s last two films in the franchise. However, Cruise clarified that he wants to make Mission: Impossible films for the next two decades, citing Harrison Ford and his portrayal of Indiana Jones as an inspiration.
“Harrison Ford is a legend; I hope to be still going; I’ve got 20 years to catch up with him,” Cruise said to The Sydney Morning Herald at the Australian premiere of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. “I hope to keep making Mission: Impossible films until I’m his age.”
