ComingSoon has an exclusive clip from Dread’s upcoming Halloween horror movie The Jester.
In The Jester, after the recent death of their father, two estranged sisters are stalked by a malevolent being known as The Jester. Revealing himself to be more than just a man in a mask, the evil entity begins to further torment the inhabitants of this small town on Halloween night. The path to defeating this unholy monster lies with the two sisters who realize that the only way to survive is to figure out how to right the wrongs of their dark past.
Our exclusive clip takes place in a cemetery, where the titular Jester is decked out in a bright orange suit and having a little dance.

The film stars Matt Servito, Lelia Symington, Jessie L. Green, Ken Arnold, and Michael Sheffield as the Jester. It’s directed by Colin Krawchuk and is written by Krawchuk and Sheffield.
The Jester is the feature-length film adaptation of a series of shorts by Krawchuk and Sheffield. The Blair Witch Project co-creator Eduardo Sanchez serves as one of the film’s executive producers. It’s journey is similar to the way Terrifier was born from a short in the anthology All Hallows Eve. Dread also backed Damien Leone‘s Terrifer
The Jester will receive a limited theatrical run on September 29, 2023, and heads to VOD on October 3, 2023.
