Netflix has released the full Spaceman trailer for its upcoming Adam Sandler space movie directed by Johan Renck. Fans won’t have to wait long to watch the drama as it will play in select theaters on February 23 and will begin streaming on Netflix on March 1, 2024.
“Six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, an astronaut, Jakub (Sandler), realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth,” reads the synopsis. “Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka, he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late.”

Who is involved in Spaceman?
Based on Jaroslav Kalfar’s 2017 novel Spaceman of Bohemia, the film is directed by Emmy-wining filmmaker Johan Renck (Chernobyl) from a screenplay written by Colby Day. Joining Sandler are Carey Mulligan, Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin, with Isabella Rossellini and Paul Dano. It is produced by Channing Tatum, Reid Carolin, Peter Kiernan, and Michael Parets for Free Association, with Ben Ormand, Renck, and Barry Bernardi serving as executive producers.
