Deadpool & Wolverine is confirmed to take viewers through cameo land, with one involving the Wrexham FC club co-owner, Rob McElhenney. He appeared alongside Ryan Reynolds in all seasons of Welcome to Wrexham and is now confirmed to have a secret cameo in Deadpool 3.

When Deadpool & Wolverine was under production in the United Kingdom in April 2023, Ryan Reynolds also attended multiple matches of his co-owned football club, Wrexham FC. As a result, multiple people involved with Welcome to Wrexham are expected to pop up in the third Deadpool outing.
Wrexham FC striker Ollie Palmer has already been spotted making a cameo in the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer where Wade meets Logan in a bar. Now, the latest Welcome to Wrexham Season 3 Episode 5 has revealed that Rob McElhenney will also appear in the movie.
Who is Rob McElhenney playing in Deadpool & Wolverine?
A viewer took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal a snippet from the Season 3 episode titled “Temporary” that showcases Rob McElhenney visiting the Deadpool & Wolverine set. He met Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy. The former was spotted in his Deadpool suit, while McElhenney could be seen hiding his costume under an oversized jacket. However, the TVA logo is visible on his upper chest, under the jacket.
So, it’s likely that McElhenney is playing a TVA agent in the movie. Whether he shows up wearing a mask as one of the TVA Minutemen or is a high-ranking official like Matthew Macfadyen’s Paradox remains to be seen.
Fans could expect the upcoming Deadpool outing to be full of cameos as many of them have already been revealed by the movie’s marketing campaign.
Besides Hugh Jackman, Reynolds, and Macfadyen, Deadpool & Wolverine also stars Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova. Other returning Deadpool 2 actors include Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Rob Delaney, Shioli Kutsuna, Stefan Kapicic, Leslie Uggams, and Karan Soni.
