Mongol helmer Sergei Bodrov is set to direct The Last Photograph, a Warner Bros. drama that came from an original idea by Watchmen director Zack Snyder. Kurt Johnstad wrote the script.
Variety says the film is a co-production between Snyder’s Cruel and Unusual Films and 300 producer Hollywood Gang.
Snyder will produce with partner Deborah Snyder and Hollywood Gang’s Gianni Nunnari. Craig J. Flores will be executive producer with Wesley Coller.
The film follows two men and the photograph that inspires them to travel to war-torn Afghanistan.
